New Employment Consultant For Project SEARCH
Jennifer Martin is the new Employment Consultant for Helping People Succeed in the local program of Project SEARCH, a national organization for job training and social skills for young adults between 18 and 22 years old. In its sixth year, the program is coordinated by Martin Health System, Helping People Succeed, ARC of Martin County, the Martin County School District and FL-DOE Vocational Rehabilitation.
Joining Project SEARCH in August, Martin has been working with Helping People Succeed’s ten students on department rotations and future employment. She is currently reviewing off-site choices, part of nine-week rotations in different areas at the hospital and related services.
Martin attended Purdue University and graduated from Ivy Tech Community College, both in Indiana. Her degree is in Early Childhood Education. She succeeds Kyra Houk, a Job Coach during her years the local Project SEARCH.
