Browne joined Helping People Succeed in June 2014. “I see it as an exceptionally committed and competent partner in a mission of inclusive community building,” she said. She is working on a January 22, 2015 concert event to benefit Helping People Succeed during its 50th Anniversary year.

She has been coming to Martin County since 1982 when her parents moved to the area. Last year, she participated in Martin CARES to learn more about the county and the quality and strength of its government.

Browne is a graduate of Yale University, with a Bachelor’s degree in history, of Harvard University with a Master’s degree in Divinity and of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a Master's degree in finance. She is an ordained Episcopal priest. She is a well-known keynote speaker, facilitator, consultant, coach and trainer nationally and internationally.
