William and Helen Thomas Charitable Trust Awards Funding to Helping People Succeed

Thanks to the William and Helen Thomas Charitable Trust, Helping People Succeed has received a $5,000 donation to be used as seed money for the beginning of a new “transition” program for young adults with autism spectrum disorder.

Thanks to the Community for Supporting Helping People Succeed In Ross Campaign Challenge

Helping People Succeed and the Richard and Yvonne Ross Charitable Foundation offer thanks to the local community for meeting a $100,000 challenge to help fund programs and direct services at Helping People Succeed.

The campaign kicked off on November 1 with a challenge from Richard and Yvonne Ross to match their $50,000 gift with $50,000 of community support to benefit Helping People Succeed. At the end of 2013, the deadline for the challenge, the campaign had $53,000 contributed by the board of directors and general public which succeeded in the receipt of the $50,000 promised by the Richard and Yvonne Ross Charitable Foundation. In total, over $100,000 was raised.

Helping People Succeed Decorations Open For One More Week Of Tours

If you haven’t stopped by the offices of Helping People Succeed to marvel at its two office floors of holiday decorations, the Holiday Happiness tours will be available for one more week - January 6 through 10, 2014.

Helping People Succeed Presents Holiday Decorations Tours For All Ages

Helping People Succeed will be opening its doors for three Open House events in December, as well as Holiday Happiness tours for visitors between December 2, 2013 and January 10, 2014, all celebrating the organization’s holiday decorations for the community.

Helping People Succeed benefactors Rich and Yvonne Ross are challenging the Martin County community and Helping People Succeed’s Board of Directors to raise $100,000 for the local non-profit organization, as it nears its 50th Anniversary in March 2014.

For its second year, area artists featured in the Helping People Succeed 2014 Art for Living Calendar will be on hand at the A.E. “Bean” Backus Gallery and Museum for a calendar signing event.
