Our Thanks To Staff, Volunteers, Physicians, And Donors For Support

Miriam Wheeler was named “Our Rock Star” for her more than 28 years of leadership and volunteering through the Martin County School District Indiantown Teen Parent Center and Healthy Families Martin starting in 1999. She served on the Martin County Interagency Coalition and Healthy Start Coalition Boards and played a major role in the initiation of Healthy Families Martin. Suzy Hutcheson and Kathy Derringer recognize Miriam Wheeler’s work.

Others recognized were:

Dave Basom and Southeastern Printing for their design work and printing of the popular Art for Living Calendar project each year;

Webmaster Tom Evinrude for his re-design of Helping People Succeed’s website – www.hpsfl.org;

The Richard and Yvonne Ross Charitable Foundation for its $100,000 challenge campaign for new funding to Helping People Succeed Foundation. The Rosses donated $50,000 and challenged the community to match the funds. In the end of a two-month campaign, Helping People Succeed raised $102,000.
