Helping People Succeed Celebrates Their Volunteers
Every nonprofit needs loyal volunteers to help it accomplish goals and objectives, but a multi-faceted 501(c)(3) like Helping People Succeed is especially reliant on the good will and hard work of a multitude of board members, foundation members, friends and volunteers.
That’s one reason why the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is always a cause for celebration.
This year, the festivities took place on April 30 at Helping People Succeed’s offices in Jensen Beach. President/CEO Suzy Hutcheson and Gift Planning Office Glenna Parris were effusive in their thanks and appreciation of the work of scores of people who contribute to the success of Helping People Succeed!
PR professional Pat Austin gave a keynote speech about Composing a Life, Creating a Tapestry giving the analogy that every volunteer’s contribution is significant. Whether it is of their time, talent or treasure – every gift makes a difference.
A luscious luncheon was provided by Ellie’s Deli and each guest received a one-of- a-kind commemorative coaster created by staff and volunteers of Helping People Succeed.
