July ushers in a brand-new fiscal year for us here at Helping People Succeed! As we close out the books on 2025-2026 and launch our balanced budget for 2026-2027, this is a great time for me to send a huge thank you to all our supporters who helped us this year to ensure we can deliver high quality intervention, disability, and mental health services across the lifespan! A few specific notes of thanks and celebration:
We ended 2025-2026 strong, raising more in philanthropic dollars than any prior year in our organization’s history, and that is thanks to you! We are so thankful to see how many people have joined in on our momentum!
We have a clear direction for our next year and beyond, are making moves that allow us to operationalize that direction, and have an absolute commitment to innovation, evolution, and growth. Thank you for coming on this journey with us!
In this next year, you will see us move our physical location from Jensen Beach to Stuart, where we are building out a new location that reflects the innovative, service-oriented, and growth-focused direction of the organization (stay tuned for more details!).
Also, in this next year, you will see our continued commitment to our Strategic Plan goals which include adding more fee-for-service opportunities to diversify our revenue streams, proactively addressing the ever-changing world of non-profit funding. This will show up over this next year in offering group services across our service portfolio. More to come there! Stay tuned!
As we enter our new fiscal year, I am proud of the work of our team, committed to evolving and innovating to responsibly meet the needs of our communities, and appreciative of the partnership of each of you who show up in so many ways to help us deliver on our mission! |

Helping People Succeed Looks Different and That's Intentional |
Over the past year, we've introduced a new logo, refreshed our branding, and begun sharing a new look throughout the communities we serve. While our appearance has evolved, our mission and commitment to serving individuals of all ages and abilities have never been stronger.
Our services haven't changed. What has changed is how we connect those services through a more streamlined, comprehensive approach that makes it easier for individuals and families to access the support they need. Over the past year, our leadership team has been implementing a strategic plan designed to strengthen how we deliver services across Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties. The result is a more streamlined, comprehensive approach that makes it easier for individuals and families to access the support they need.
Rather than thinking of our programs as separate services, we are embracing a wraparound model of care. This means participants and their families can receive coordinated support throughout every stage of life, from birth through adulthood, without having to navigate complex systems on their own. Our goal is simple: meet people where they are, connect them to the right services, and continue walking alongside them as their needs change. |
The Story Behind Our New Brand |
Every element of our new brand was created with purpose.
At the center of our logo is a figure representing the journey of an individual throughout their lifespan. The flowing shape reflects growth, movement, and the many milestones each person experiences from infancy through adulthood.
Surrounding the individual are embracing hands that symbolize our comprehensive service model. These hands represent the families, staff, community partners, volunteers, and supporters who work together to ensure every participant receives the care, advocacy, and opportunities they deserve. They remind us that no one succeeds alone.
The bright, uplifting colors were intentionally chosen as well. Living on Florida's Treasure Coast, we are fortunate to experience sunny skies that reflect hope, optimism, and new possibilities. Those colors represent the positive futures we strive to help create every day through early intervention, behavioral health, family support, employment services, adult programming, and community inclusion.
Together, these elements tell the story of Helping People Succeed. We support individuals through every stage of life while surrounding them with compassionate, coordinated care. |
Building a Better Experience |
Our transformation extends beyond our printed materials and logo.
We are currently in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select a website partner that can redesign our website to reflect our new brand and, more importantly, improve the experience for everyone who visits.
Our new website will make it easier for families to find services, community partners to make referrals, volunteers to get involved, and donors to support our mission. It will provide a more intuitive experience while reflecting the welcoming, inclusive organization Helping People Succeed has become over the past 60 years.
This redesign isn't simply about aesthetics. It's about ensuring that someone seeking help can quickly understand what we offer, find the right program, and connect with us when they need us most. |
As we continue implementing our strategic plan, you'll see additional changes designed to improve accessibility, communication, and community engagement. Every decision we make is guided by one question:
How can we better serve the individuals and families who rely on us? Whether you're a participant, parent, donor, volunteer, community partner, or someone learning about Helping People Succeed for the first time, we invite you to explore our programs, share our mission, and be part of this exciting new chapter. Together, we're creating a stronger, more connected future for the Treasure Coast.
Because at Helping People Succeed, we're not just changing how we look. We're strengthening how we serve. Turning Challenges into Success. |

Through the Autism Resource Navigator (ARN) Program, families were connected to extracurricular community activities, including social skills groups such as those offered by Living Soul. Funding provided through the ARN Program has played a significant role in supporting the children’s growth, independence, and community engagement.
The children participating in the program (James, Jedidiah, and Stephon) experience challenges with social interaction, emotional regulation, and limited access to community-based activities and resources. Through the ARN Program, their families were connected to sensory-friendly recreational opportunities and community support services designed to meet their individual needs. As a result, the children have gained opportunities to build social confidence, strengthen communication and life skills, and develop greater self-advocacy.
In addition, the program has supported younger children and their families by providing access to sensory tools, educational materials, and referrals for developmental services. These supports have helped improve communication abilities, increase successful participation in classroom and recreational settings, and foster a greater sense of inclusion among peers and within the community.
Overall, the ARN Program is dedicated to empowering children and families by linking them to vital services, advocating for family stability and addressing concerns as they navigate their journey. |
