We are incredibly grateful to receive the 1st Quarter Community Washer donation from Sunshine Laundry Centers in Okeechobee. Thanks to Tom Rhodes and this impactful program, $1,083 will directly support our Summer Camp programming, helping us create meaningful experiences for the individuals and families we serve. Because of this support, children in our Summer Camp will have access to inclusive activities, specialized support, and opportunities to learn, grow, and connect in a safe and engaging environment.
Our Director of Marketing, Communications, and Community Engagement, Cheree Ramirez, had the pleasure of connecting with Tom to accept the check and learn more about the heart behind this initiative.
Sunshine Laundry Centers operates eight locations across the Treasure Coast and runs the Community Washer program at each site, giving back to local nonprofits and strengthening communities. Each quarter, a new nonprofit is selected at every location, expanding their impact across the region.
As we move into the final stretch of our fiscal year, this generous gift is part of a larger effort to expand access to life-changing summer programs. Stay tuned in the coming days as we share more about how you can help us reach our upcoming campaign goal and make an even greater impact in our community.
If you are looking for a place to do your laundry while supporting a great cause, we encourage you to visit Sunshine Laundry Centers and be part of the impact. Check out their website: www.sunshinelaundries.com to learn more about the “Community Washer” program.
