About The Artist: Elisa Peppe

Elisa is a self-taught artist. She has chosen not to take classes, watch tutorial videos or anything pertaining to learning about art. She feels this decision forces her to think freely and discover her own methods.

After only four years she has created her own unique style. Her art is more expressionism rather than mirror – like reflection on reality.

Elisa’s technique pushes everything to the forefront of the canvas and creates a more visceral feeling.

She met the love of her life four years ago. One day they decided to go buy art supplies; She could always design anything, but could never paint or draw. To her surprise it came so naturally, every brush stroke and every detail. They are both thankful for their divine love and the God-given-talents she had hidden away so deep that it took meeting this wonderful man to bring it out in her.

Elisa and her fiancé live in Martin County for six months of the year and spend the summer months at their home in Cashiers, NC, where she feels blessed to look out her studio window and see the majestic views of Whiteside Mountain.
