Helping People Succeed Brings April Showers Gifts, Donations To Families and Children
Helping People Succeed is celebrating its second annual April Showers program to benefit the children and families served by the local non-profit organization in Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee communities.
From developmental toys and games, diapers and wipes, books, rattles and baby clothing, April Showers calls upon a variety of community organizations, including non-profits and area churches, to support the month-long campaign. The donations will provide early infant needs and equipment in those early years to assist young families.
“April Showers is here,” said Glenna Parris, Gift Planning Officer. “This month-long baby shower will assist families that we serve in our community who may have not been fortunate enough to have a baby shower. These families face challenges in meeting their everyday needs. Your participation in our April Showers will give those families hope for a brighter future with their newborn.”
During the last few weeks, Helping People Succeed has contacted numerous organizations from last year’s campaign, adding new businesses and churches to the list of drop-off locations. Among the firms assisting Helping People Succeed are Treasure Coast Primary Care, Dr. Kim Dettori’s office, Kinane Corporation Commercial Printing, Indiantown Gas Company and The Law Offices of Carlton, Fields, Jorden, & Burt in West Palm Beach. Check out the list of drop-off locations on Helping People Succeed’s website at www.hpsfl.org. The locations include businesses, non-profit organizations and churches in Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties.
