April Showers Baby Shower To Rain Gifts For Families in Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee Counties
The non-profit organization serves more than 4,500 families in Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties, offering home visits to families with newborns, intensive parenting education and guidance for high risk families, and developmental intervention services for families with children under three with developmental challenges. All programs focus on helping families become stronger and more self- sufficient, with confident parenting skills to give their child the best start possible.
Making sure that families have “baby necessities” as they raise their young children, Helping People Succeed has set up a Wish List for the “Baby Shower.” Among the items on the list are diapers, bottles, wipes, clothing, rattles, developmental toys, books, booties and blankets. Other items will be accepted, as well.

Helping People Succeed is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves families in Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. The organization opened in 1964, serving adults with disabilities and has grown to include family-oriented programs from Birth to 5 years old. In recent years, Helping People Succeed has coordinated after-school programs for elementary, middle and high school students with autism spectrum disorder and has opened a local facility to concentrate on the autism program.
