Thomas Charitable Trust Supports Helping People Succeed’s Autism Program
Last summer, Helping People Succeed provided a group of young adults with a tour of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The tour enabled graduating students and young adults to see how they could be part of college education programs, including dormitory facilities at the state university. Other programs will be reviewed at related facilities on the Treasure Coast.
Four years ago, Helping People Succeed organized after-school classes for elementary, middle and high school students with autism spectrum disorder. Parents were also invited to attend sessions, hosted by counselors working for the non-profit.
Now, in its 51st year, Helping People Succeed serves more than 4,500 families and children in Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties. For additional information, contact Glenna Parris at 772.320.0778.
