Supporting Good Behavior!
“The help we have received has made a huge impact on the behavior of the children who are receiving services. This has also had a domino effect on the rest of the children in the classroom as well.”– Teacher
The Pre-K Behavioral support programs help families with children ages two to five who are experiencing behavioral challenges at home or in a childcare center in Martin and St. Lucie counties. By working directly with parents in the family home and teachers in the child care setting, we can provide strategies for improving a child's behavior and creating more peaceful pre-school and home environments.
Specifically, we can help with:
- Decreasing power struggles
- Redirecting behavior
- Encouraging cooperation & caring
- Calming techniques
- Being kind and firm
