The Wee Talk Campaign provides language promotion presentations and coaching to targeted professionals who will in turn deliver language promotion messaging to parents of infants and toddlers. The targeted audiences consist of professionals who frequently interface with families with young children including the WIC department staff, maternal-child nurses, library staff, Healthy Start staff, and early childhood educators- both center based and home visitors.

A Wee Talk Facilitator provides training and resources such as videos, handouts, online training, and toolkits from early childhood initiatives and provides profession specific presentations and follow-up throughout the community. Our goal is to impact awareness and behavioral change by equipping professionals to empower parents to utilize language rich interaction with their young children. As everyone gets on board to promote early language interaction, our community’s children are on the road to success for school readiness.
